Understanding Energies

Not all energies around us are positive. Sometimes, the environment you’re in may feel heavy or cold, which can be unsettling. Even seemingly warm or inviting spaces can carry hidden negativity. If you experience symptoms like dizziness, confusion, sudden bursts of anger, or a consistent sense of unease, trust those feelings. These could be signs of what is commonly referred to in spiritual terms as the "evil eye."

What Is the Evil Eye?

The "evil eye" refers to negative energy or intentions directed at someone, either consciously or unconsciously. This negativity often stems from emotions like jealousy, competition, or malice.

Light, positive energy, on the other hand, is usually a reassuring sign. However, it’s important to remain mindful of subtle shifts in energy, as even the smallest changes can carry significant meaning.

Remember, everyone you encounter may be facing their own challenges. They could be grieving a loss, dealing with bullying, or even seeking attention in their own way. Whatever the case, protect your energy.

I’ve encountered situations where the person accusing me of wrongdoing turned out to be the real covert bully. We live in a highly manipulative world where, at times, a parent might complain about a child’s behavior, yet unknowingly or intentionally be the root cause of that very behavior.

Be mindful about stepping into someone else’s drama unless you’re sure your support is genuinely needed. When we help others heal, we often begin to heal ourselves. However, it’s important to remember that interfering with someone’s journey may unintentionally disrupt the essential life lessons they are meant to learn.

Take time to look inward and discover your natural intuition—perhaps even your psychic abilities. This self-awareness can help you navigate life with greater clarity and ease. While challenges will still arise, they are an integral part of growth and personal evolution.

Those who follow the crowd lose their own voice and the ability to chart their own path.

Life today feels like a relentless race—media, politics, and the people around us buzzing like busy bees in this fast-paced world. But it doesn’t have to be this way! It all comes down to choice—what we allow ourselves to perceive. There are so many voices preying on our vulnerabilities, trying to convince us they hold the key to our transformation. The truth? While some can guide us, the real power to change lies within us all along.

Personally, I’ve never been someone who thrives on being rushed. I prefer to take my time and work within my own abilities.  Resilience is something we all possess, but society often distracts us from discovering our inner strengths. Instead, we’re constantly searching for answers outside of ourselves. I’ve attended countless self-help programs, only to leave feeling drained and weighed down.

The COVID-19 lock downs were a challenging time for many. Isolation tested us in ways we hadn’t imagined. While some struggled deeply, others used that period to embrace solitude, rediscover themselves, and ultimately transform their lives.

For me, it wasn’t easy. I’m not particularly social, but being completely alone during that time was tough. No one reached out to check on me, except for my therapist during online sessions. It wasn’t a choice—it was a circumstance I couldn’t control. I looked deep within myself.

I lost two family members during that time and had to grieve in isolation. Coming from a large family and experiencing multiple losses over the years, I’ve developed a certain resilience to grief. For me, death isn’t the end. While losing my dad profoundly impacted me, I’ve come to accept loss as a part of life. It has shaped the person I am today, and for that, I’m stronger.

When the chaos of the storm swirls around us, we have the power to be the calm within it. I find peace in simply sitting still—closing my eyes, doing nothing, and immersing myself in the soothing sounds of the wind or the gentle songs of birds. I choose not to get caught up in the relentless rat race of life. Instead, I take a moment to connect with my higher source—whatever that may mean to each of us in our beautifully diverse world.

I breathe deeply, smile to myself, and feel a quiet satisfaction. It’s a reminder that sometimes, the light we embrace can unsettle the shadows others carry, and that's okay. We can still rise above, grounded in calm and clarity. That precious time spent alone is where you’ll find true peace, empowering you to step confidently into the world, undisturbed by its chaos. As I reflect on this, a timeless quote by Lao Tzu comes to mind: "Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished."

When dealing with someone who tries to impose their beliefs on you, a know-it-all friend who claims to understand you better than you do, or a so-called peacemaker who thrives on creating unnecessary drama, take a moment to pause. Even when faced with an antagoniser who knows how to push your buttons but appears friendly in front of others, resist the urge to react immediately. Instead, step back, create space for some quiet reflection, and turn inward to truly listen to yourself. While your ego may clamor loudly for attention, it’s your inner voice—calm, nurturing, and steady—that holds the clarity you need. Trust it.

When dealing with challenging individuals, try to view the situation from a higher perspective. Remember, we are all here to navigate and experience life in our unique ways. Instead of engaging or entangling your energy with negativity, choose to protect your peace by calling upon divine guidance, such as angels or source light. It's important to understand that we are not here to fix others. Focus on living your authentic truth, and in doing so, you may inspire or empower others to grow and evolve in their own time. Embracing self-care can empower you to stay strong and resilient.

Fear is merely an illusion. Don’t let others prey on it by persuading you to buy their so-called solutions—it’s often just a sales tactic. The truth is, the power to overcome fear already resides within you. You hold the key. Take control and steer your own ship with confidence!
