With wonder and the eyes of a child filled with delight
I surrender beneath the starry night
surrounded by the shadowy trees, hills and mist
Waiting for the moon to greet me with a kiss.
Oh, this magical place I often go
When I need to release and let it all go
Where the people smile and greet you with warmth
A magical place they call Burrow Mump.
The hoot of the owl as a gentle nudge
flapping its wings with motherly love
"Remember who you are," she hoots as she circles me above
"You are worthy!"
"You are enough!"

My Soul Speaks
Take me to the Place
Where the earth touches the sky
Where my soul finds solace
and I can greet the passers by.
Where Winnie the caterpillar
Travels at her own pace
and the snails pause to marvel
At the stars' celestial grace.
Where the owls serenade the night with their hoot
and I can pause to embrace the chilly autumn air
While the creatures of the night come alive
Stirring and awakening with mystical flair.
